Terms of Service

Effective Date: 29 Nov 2025
Welcome to President Movers. By using our website and services, you agree to the Terms of Service outlined below. Please read this page carefully, as it explains your rights and responsibilities when working with us.

1. Service Overview

President Movers provides residential, commercial, warehouse delivery, staging moves, packing and unpacking, and related moving services. All services are scheduled based on availability and confirmed after communication with our team.

2. Booking and Estimates

Quotes provided through the Get a Quote form, Contact form, phone, or email are based on the information provided by the customer. Final pricing may vary depending on:
a) Additional items not originally listed
b) Extra stops or extended travel time
c) Last-minute changes in service scope
d) Specialty items requiring additional handling
We always communicate any pricing changes clearly before proceeding.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule:
a) Please notify us as early as possible
b) Short-notice changes may be subject to a rescheduling fee depending on availability and booking schedule
Our goal is to accommodate all customers fairly.

4. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and efficient move, customers agree to:
a) Provide accurate information about the move
b) Confirm building and elevator booking (if required)
c) Ensure parking availability for our trucks when possible
d) Inform us about fragile, specialty, or high-value items before moving day
Failure to provide accurate details may affect timing and/or pricing.

5. Liability and Protection

Our movers take great care handling your belongings. Although we protect floors, walls, furniture, and fragile items using professional techniques and equipment, accidental damage may still occur. Liability coverage is limited to the level outlined in British Columbia’s moving industry regulations.

For high-value or specialty items, we recommend informing us in advance so additional protection and planning can be arranged if needed.

6. Inventory and Packing

If customers choose to pack items themselves, President Movers is not responsible for damage resulting from:
a) Improper packing
b) Open or poorly sealed boxes
c) Overfilled containers
If we provide packing services, we ensure proper care and secure handling.

7. Right to Refuse Service

For safety reasons, we reserve the right to refuse service under conditions including:
a) Aggressive or unsafe environments
b) Illegal or hazardous items
c) Situations that compromise the safety of our team
This ensures a respectful and secure work environment.

8. Payments

Payments are due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods may include:
a) Cash
b) Card
c) E-transfer
Late or failed payments may result in administrative fees.
