Many moving companies use “dock-to-dock” hourly pricing (also called portal-to-portal). Under this model, the clock starts when the crew leaves the company’s yard and stops when they get back. You end up paying for their travel time.
At President Movers, we don’t charge for travel time from our office to your first location. We also don’t charge for travel back from your last location to our office. We believe it’s our job to be close to our clients, not to pass along unnecessary travel charges.
