How to File a Claim

Filing a claim with President Movers is simple. Just follow these steps:

1. Document the Damage in Writing

Provide a written description of the item(s) that were damaged or went missing during your move.

2. Submit Supporting Details

Send us any relevant documentation, including photos of the damage and a brief description of the item and its condition.

3. Review and Resolution

Once we receive your claim, our team will review it promptly. After the review, we’ll work with you on a fair resolution — whether that’s a repair, replacement, or compensation for the item.

We recommend insuring high-value items before your move and letting our team know in advance about anything fragile or requiring extra care, so we can handle it accordingly.

Claim Policy Details

Submission window: Claims must be submitted within [15] days of your move date to be eligible for coverage.

Processing time: Once submitted with all required documentation, claims are typically reviewed and settled within [7–10] business days.

 Coverage basis: Repairs or compensation are determined based on basic valuation coverage of $0.30 per pound, per damaged item, unless additional valuation coverage is purchased prior to your move.

Property protection: Coverage extends to damage caused to floors, walls, and elevators during the move, in addition to your belongings.

One claim per move: A maximum of one claim per move, per customer, is eligible for coverage.

Photos required: Please include clear photos of any damaged items along with your written description — this helps us process your claim faster and avoid delays.

Note: the coverage basis ($0.30/lb) is confirmed. The bracketed figures for submission window ([15] days) and processing time ([7–10] business days) are still placeholders based on common industry claim-policy structures and must be confirmed with ops before publishing.
